This current pandemic has brought a lot of issues to light. For obvious reasons, the medical world has faced a lot of challenges from the crumbling of supply chain to exhaustion of our brave medical frontliners.

The business closures brought about by imposed lockdowns has forced a lot of our workforce to go unemployed. For most people, it has become a struggle to put food on the table.

So when Ms Patricia Non started a Community Pantry in Maginhawa, Quezon City the people picked it up right away. With the slogan, "Magbigay Ayon sa Kakayanan, Kumuha Ayon sa Pangangailangan," everyone is encouraged to give what they can and to get only what they need.

Soon enough, the community pantries kept sprouting up, providing a day's sustenance for the hungry.

Ecosprout caught on the wave too, and started donating fresh produce to Bagong Ilog Community Pantry in Pasig City, Philippines.

Here are some photos of our contributions. Some of our loyal customers have shared their resources too and gave willingly to the community pantry.
